✔ Tone-wise, I'm looking to keep the anime and manga's largely lighthearted feel. If you're seeking a "dark and gritty" feel a la Pokémon Apokélypse, we wouldn't be compatible.
✔ Please be familiar up to at least the Sinnoh generation of Pokémon (or willing to use Bulbapedia).
✔ Descriptive battles a la the anime are a must. I don't demand every nuance get its own paragraph, but just writing "[Name of Pokémon] uses [name of attack]" ain't gonna cut it.

✘ Let's skip the "Four Moves of Doom" limit. Both the anime and manga show Pokemon using way more than just a quartet of moves, so let's go with that.
✘ I'll pass on Poképhilia (Pokémon-human sex). The game canon may nod at this (Google "Sinnoh Folk Story 3"), but I'll pass all the same.

I'd be particularly interested in using one of the following prompts:

• Various self-contained one-shots centered around the classic Pokémon journey and the typical adventures within.

• Slice-of-life tales detailing the lives of OC Gym Leaders, Frontier Brains, Team [blank] members, Elite Four members and the like.

• Various "snapshots" of the characters' interactions, creating a "chronicle" highlighting their evolution from acquaintances/rivals/antagonists/strangers, to friends, to lovers and such.

• A friendly, romantic and/or shamelessly smutty encounter between our characters. (I’ll almost never say No to this.)

• Episodic roleplays: Each "scene" is like an episode in a series (a short-term/one-shot RP with a resolution of sorts), then later doing another scene in the same general storyline with the same characters, but a different set of circumstances. Basically, each RP scene is self-contained, but the characters remain the same and some elements carry over from scene to scene.

• Pokémon Tech: I would enjoy the idea of RPing within a university like Pokémon Tech (it basically came off as Pokémon’s version of Yale or Hogwarts), or having one trainer who comes from PT meet one who doesn’t. Because it’s a school for rich or wealthy children, mayhaps a character could win a tournament, earning a free ride to the university.
