On Smut

Important OOC Note

When it comes to sexual content and smut, I like to invoke the following four rules:

• All parties must be at least 20 years old physically and mentally. Self-explanatory: Underage characters can't give legal consent. (And if you feel the need to protest this, it'd be best if we didn't RP together.

• All reasonable dangers and precautions are known (an admittedly relative stance depending on the parties). I'm fine with room-trashing rough passion, fight scenes and characters getting hurt or injured. But if your character can't come unless someone's maimed, crying or bleeding out, I'm not the partner for you.

• No one's judgment is significantly impaired. If someone has strongly-impaired awareness or self-agency so they can’t reasonably consent (they're black-out drunk, heavily sedated, under powerful hypnosis/mind control, deep psychological issues, etc.), it ain’t happening.

• Choices are free and informed; all involved parties are fully aware of what's happening and want to do this. Rape, non-con and dub-con are all instant dealbreakers.
